Month of November at HolyTrinity, 10am
Month of December at St. Paul’s Lutheran, 10am
Many see Advent as a season of hope and Christmas as a season of joy. But not everyone feels hopeful or like celebrating. Grief, illness, aging, depression, loneliness, unemployment, and loss are magnified. Even those who are not struggling with losses may feel the stress of preparations and expectations around Christmas time. This Longest Night/Blue Christmas service will be a contemplative space; a place of solace during the often frenetic days surrounding the celebration of Christmas. We come together seeking healing and room to share grief, sadness, loneliness, or confusion when these emotions often feel out of place during the holidays.
For us December 21 is the longest night, the winter solstice, marking the official start of winter. And on this darkest day of the year, we come with our honest yearnings seeking the return of light and hope.
We are reading “The Cross in our Context” by Douglas John Hall every Sunday morning. Join us at 8 am at the church of worship

Welcome to the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity web site!
We are a congregation that tries to practice the very best this Lutheran branch of the Christ vine has to offer people today. We practice Word and Sacrament (Communion) that seeks to be relevant to our lives. Worship, preaching, teaching and fellowship are the backbone of our life together. We are also a Reconciling in Christ congregation. In January 2012, the congregation adopted the following statement of affirmation and welcome:
Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity is a spiritual community that celebrates the gifts of God that empower us to engage in the struggles of life, to care for each other, and to serve Christ where we work and live. Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity is a Reconciling-in-Christ congregation. We welcome the participation of people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, educational backgrounds, and economic conditions-all who want to join in community to honor God and be of service to people.
We hope you will join us for worship which begins at 9:00 a.m. Learn more about the congregation by exploring the page tabs above!
